Our monthly advanced classes help all team members updating their knowledge in latest and most advanced color and styling techniques. We also host hair & fashion photoshoot in a weekly basis (every Monday).

Our educators are offered opportunities to travel to New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and other top cities, attending educational seminars and advanced hairdressing events to update their training abilities.

AALAM’s educational philosophy is;
A Hair salon should not only offer exceptional services but that it should also be a collaborative atmosphere that trains and inspires the next generation of hairdressers.
AALAM offers a unique apprentice training program for bright, up and coming hairdressers. Our hairdressers frequent in salon technical and creative fashion forward classes, sharing knowledge and experience.

We work as a team for inspiration and always challenging ourselves to work outside the box. Hosting other acclaimed educators for trainings in our salon, partnering with Wella, L’oreal, Kerastase and utilizing TIGI cutting/coloring methods in our apprentice training program.
By frequently sending our stylists/colorists to New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas for advanced classes, Seminars and hair shows the salon maintains a fresh and modern approach to hairdressing.

Well known for its high standards and respected by other top salons across the US, AALAM provides opportunities to the best up-and-coming hairdressers through a diligent in-house Apprenticeship training program.

We start with a structured program of technical excellence in hair cutting, coloring and styling and add to that a mixture of acclaimed educators running hands-on classes.
We incorporate the theory classes and hands-on practical work, So you can build your knowledge, confidence and creativity that will prepare you for a lifetime of success.

As part of our program, Mondays are designated training days where assistants work on models under the direction and supervision of our expert trainers, who are also our most senior hairdressers.

AALAM graduates, really enjoy their experience with us and move on to the next level as a full-time stylists/colorist. AALAM fosters a professional yet unpretentious work environment with a great, supportive team and an atmosphere that inspires us. After completing our initial interview process, applicants are assessed by AALAM educators to evaluate their skill level for appropriate placement in our apprentice training program.

No previous experience is necessary. We are looking for a commitment to a career in hairdressing, creativity, enthusiasm, professionalism and a great work ethic!  You must hold a valid Texas Cosmetology license to start, or having 1200 hours credit at cosmetology school to reserve your spot.

We are always looking for professional, customer service focused and career minded individual to join our growing busy reception desk team.
AALAM is a team oriented upscale hair salon that takes pride in providing guests the ultimate salon experience! This position requires a person that loves close interaction with the public and appreciates dressing up for work. Our business is to make people feel and look great, and of course feel special. This means the person that is right for this position has to have Great customer service and want a fast pace work environment.

Responsibilities:
Educating guests about the services and products we offer, greeting guests and checking guests out, booking appointments with accuracy, answering busy phones, be able to multitask and support many stylists.
Other responsibilities are: handling credit card transactions, balancing cash drawer, performing all required opening and closing procedures accurately, do daily check for salon compliance, retail inventory control and ordering, perform any other duties as requested by management.
