Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and Cash.

We do not accept Personal checks.

Stylist and Colorist Selection (Open Chair Policy)

We strongly believe in our teamwork, our staff’s commitment is to your complete satisfaction and quality of service. It is very common for our guests to work with more than two or three professionals in a given time in our salon, for the sake of scheduling convenience and economy. Our front desk staff is committed to suiting the best personalities for you, meaning we encourage our clients to please feel free to receive services from different stylists and technicians within our company. This will provide our clients with various artistic inputs and access to multi-talents. It also helps our clients to feel comfortable with all the technicians so when they are scheduling appointments it is more convenient for them.

Service Guarantee

We want you to be happy and satisfied with your services. Therefore, we do ask that you call us within 14 days of your service(s) for any changes that you may require. We are happy for the opportunity to make things right for you. If at any time you feel that you would like to try the services of a different designer at AALAM, then we support and recommend that you do so. Our entire team’s talent is at your disposal and discretion.

Product Guarantee

It is important to us that you have the correct hair care products for your use at home. We want you to have exactly what works for you. Returns and exchanges are accepted on all hair care products within 14 days with the proof of purchase. All purchase refunds are processed via check mailed to you from our accounting department within 5-7 business days. Purchases made with a gift card will be refunded back onto a gift card.

Returns on hair dryers, flat irons and curling irons must occur within 14 days of the original purchase date with the proof of purchase. Returned items must consist of all packaging and be in original condition.  We cannot offer returns or exchanges on hair accessories such as clips, brushes, combs, etc. Sales of those items are final.


Each appointment at AALAM will provide you personalized attention with your stylist/colorist of choice, We recommend that you make all appointments in advance to ensure stylist/colorist availability, as well as to secure the time that works best for your schedule. We may require a credit card to secure your appointment(s). Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to relax, browse style ideas and enjoy a refreshing beverage. If you are late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule your appointment or modify your service(s).

Cancellation and No Show Policy

We are committed to providing superior quality services to our clients.
In the event of a cancellation, we ask that you please provide us at least 48 hours notice so that we can accommodate other clients in need of our services.
You must telephone the salon (214-387-4600), during the business hours directly to cancel your appointment.
If you miss your appointment without giving at least a 48-hour notice, then you will be billed 50% of the cost of the missed service(s).
Failure to not show for an appointment will result in a full service charge (100%).
These fees will be expected to be paid prior to future visits.

Confirmation Calls

For your convenience, we provide a courtesy call 48 hours prior to your appointment. We ask that you keep us informed of any changes in your contact information.
For all bridal, Keratin Complex, group services, Any multiple services or combos or special request appointments, We require $100 Deposit and 72 hour notice in the event of a cancellation.
If no prior notice (72 hour notice) is given, 50% of the services booked will be charged.
Failure to not show for an appointment will result in a full service charge (100%).

Pricing Disclaimer

All pricing is based on time and product used to perform each service.  Pricing is subject to increase if additional time or product is needed to accommodate your particular hair needs. If you have any questions on specific pricing, then we urge you to ask your stylist for pricing prior to your service.

Children Safety Policy

With the utmost respect to the parents, for safety reasons and insurance purposes, We encourage parents to visit the salon without their children unless the child has an appointment. We do not have the facilities to care for children and even the best behaved children are subject to elements of danger in the salon environment (sharp scissors, hot irons, chemicals, glass shelves, etc.). We love children, over half of our staff are parents themselves and understand that this can be a sensitive issue and we hope you understand, we cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our other guests.

Blow-Dry After Color Services

At AALAM the Salon you will receive a complimentary Quick-Dry with color services if there is a stylist available. If you wish for a full professional “Signature Blow-Dry” after your color service you will be booked in accordingly, And will receive your professional “Signature Blow-Dry” for a special price of just $40. ( If your hair also require a hot iron work for special finish look, You’ll be charged an additional $15 ).

Please note: Some hair types, Such as curly, Heavily textured and relaxed hair cannot be affectively Blown-Out as a Quick-Dry. In such cases it is better to leave the hair to dry naturally, and as such, We cannot offer our complimentary Quick-Dry as this will affect the integrity of your hair. Of course if you wish to book a full professional “Signature Blow-Dry”, We will make you look stunning.

Complete Color Change/ Corrective Color/ Keratin Complex – Final Pricing by Consultation

Because color prices can vary significantly depending upon the length and density of your hair, a complimentary color consultation is suggested for all new clients. Following your complimentary consultation, multiple visits may be necessary to achieve the desired results to promote the overall health of your hair.

Clothing and Jewelry

We suggest you wear our provided robes when receiving any service. If you choose not to change, we will not be responsible for any damage to clothing.
We cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing , jewelry and accessories.


Gratuities are not included in services provided or gift card purchases. Gratuities are always appreciated and we thank you for your thoughtfulness. All tipping must be done in cash or check made out directly to your stylist. Envelopes are provided for your convenience at the reception desk. Please indicate on the envelope who the tip is for and who it is from and we will forward it to your stylist/colorist.

Guest Policy

In the service area of the salon we can only accommodate those clients receiving services. We thank you for your cooperation in advance. Our goal is to provide each client with personalized individual attention. All guests are asked to wait in the reception area.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are available for your gift giving convenience and are offered in any amount of $50 or more. Gift cards do not include gratuities and are not redeemable for cash.

Gift Card Disclaimer

No Value Until Activated by Merchant.
Gift Card and any unused portions of gift card expire within one year of issuance.
Gift Card may be used to purchase any AALAM product or service.
Gift card cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be refunded once issued.
Gift card is not for resale and cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.
Gift Card must be presented at the time service is rendered.
AALAM is not responsible for lost, misplaced, damaged or stolen gift card.
Void where prohibited by law.

Cell phones

We ask that all cell phones be set to vibrate before entering the salon as a courtesy to other clients and our design team. We strive to provide a relaxing, private and undisturbed atmosphere at all times.
